The CIIF Forum cum Social Capital Builder Awards Presentation Ceremony 2024 successfully concluded

The biennial Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) Forum cum Social Capital Builder Awards Presentation Ceremony 2024 was successfully held on 10 December 2024 (Tue) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

With the theme “Fostering a Caring Community with Social Capital”, the Forum was officiated by Mr Clarence LEUNG, BBS, JP, Acting Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, with the following guests as moderators and speakers:

The plenary session explored how social capital could effectively and sustainably enhance the happiness of individuals and the community.

This session invites speakers to share various ways to establish strategic partnerships synergistically with different stakeholders to improve the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of citizens and build a caring community together.

Unleashing Potential: Happiness Within Reach

This session invited speakers to share their blueprint for a caring community for the elderly, women and youths, as well as strategies and experiences in encouraging people from different age groups to participate in the community.

The Social Capital Builder Awards Presentation Ceremony was held in the same afternoon. This year, five CIIF-funded projects were awarded the Outstanding Social Capital Project Awards, five collaborative partners were awarded the Outstanding Social Capital Partnership Awards, and 104 collaborative partners participated in CIIF-funded projects were awarded the Social Capital Builder Logo Award.
