CIIF’s 34th Batch Application
New "Dedicated Funding Application" and "General Funding Application"



The Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) will accept applications from 1 December 2021 to 4 February 2022 (5:00 p.m). For details of the new "Dedicated Funding Application" and "General Funding Application", please watch the briefing video below.

To enhance the understanding of the two types of “Dedicated Funding Application” among the interested parties, the CIIF will organise two online sharing sessions to introduce “Ageing-in-place – The Programme for Building a Dementia-friendly Community” (3 December) and “The Community Support Programme for New Public Rental Housing Estates” (6 December) respectively. CIIF-funded project teams will be invited to share their experience and insights in running the projects, and elaborate on how to build social capital in communities with distinct characteristics under the CIIF-funded projects. Interested parties are cordially invited to join.

“Practice Research - The process of developing social capital by social workers” 2021 Conference

If you are interested in learning more about how to develop strategies to build social capital, establish networks among different groups and apply practice research in social capital development, you are welcome to join the “Practice Research - The process of developing social capital by social workers” Conference to be held on 16 December (Thursday) by the Department of Applied Social Sciences of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The Conference, presented by the University’s research teams and the team responsible for implementing “The Community Support Programme for New Public Rental Housing Estates”, will cover the following topics:

  1. Application of practice research in the planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning of social work
  2. Strategies for developing social capital in public housing estates
  3. Ways to build networks among social workers, residents and community groups
