Briefing on CIIF 28th Batch Application
Theme:Networking in Place, Ageing with Grace
Starting from 20 November 2017, the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) accepts new batch of applications for both thematic and non-thematic social capital projects. Please click HERE for the Application Guide and Form. The application deadline is 5pm on 31 January 2018.
The 28th Batch Application carries the theme” Networking in Place, Ageing with Grace”. Home is the most familiar place to us, bringing us a special attachment. Most elderly people prefer spending the rest of their life at home. To achieve the objective of “ageing in place”, the elderly not only need the care of their family members but also support from the community.
The briefing on the 28th batch application was held at Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library on 4 December 2017. The guest speakers encouraged all sectors of society to think out of the box and put forward innovative ideas with a view to strengthening the neighbourhood support network for the elderly and building an elderly-friendly community. The briefing session attracted around 200 participants.
