Social Capital Builder Awards 2024
Social capital is the vital soft power that promotes sustainable development of society. Thanks to years of broad participation by different sectors, social capital development projects funded by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF-funded projects) have been running smoothly, hence building social capital and a close-knit community network, fostering a culture of mutual help and trust, as well as cultivating a caring society.
To commend individuals, corporates and organisations for their contributions to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, this year’s Social Capital Builder Awards (SCB Awards) will invite applications from Project Teams that launched CIIF-funded projects between 2022 and 2024 and their collaborative partners, with the aim of publicising their achievements in collaboration and social capital building.

The SCB Awards 2024 offers three award categories as follows:

Assessment Criteria:
The assessment criteria are based on six core social capital dimensions, namely, Social Networks, Social Participation, Information and Communication, Trust and Solidarity, Mutual-help and Reciprocity, and Social Cohesion and Inclusion. For details, please refer to the relevant forms.
